JARED FOR DAYTON
PROJECT GOALS
1. Design a brand and identity that represented Jared's progressive values
2. Ensure identity was adaptable to a variety of channels

Brand & Identity Design / Web Design / Social Content Design
THE BACKGROUND
In the Spring of 2021, I had the opportunity to work with Friends of Jared Grandy in the campaign to get Jared Grandy elected to the Dayton City Commission.
I was humbled and felt the enormous weight of what it would have meant for Dayton if Jared, an unapologetic progressive, was elected. He was and still continues to be a voice for all of Dayton.
When I initially met with Jared about the logo, the only request he had was to include navy blue, yellow, and something in the logo representing his progressivism. My solution was to build a sense of elevation with the crossbars of a, r, and e of Jared.
THE SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE
Our goal from day one was to create an engaging social media presence through static images, live videos, pre-recorded videos, and motion graphics. Over six weeks, we gained ~2.5k followers, reached over 300k people, raised over $16k and I had made over 100 individual pieces of content.
In addition to an aggressive content calendar, we worked to build awareness around the issues that no one else was talking about in the race and successfully did so.
